There was an upset in Aleksandrovac where 4th placed BosnianIgokea (7-6) was crushed by ninth ranked Montenegrin Derby (3-11) 94-66 on Monday. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Derby looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Slovenian point guard Matic Rebec (183-1995, agency: SLN) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Bosnian-Croatian swingman Mateo Dreznjak (195-1999) helped adding 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Derby players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Serbian power forward Strahinja Gavrilovic (204-1993, college: USC, agency: Octagon Europe) with 21 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Nate Pierre-Louis (193-1998, college: Temple) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Derby keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Split. Defending Bosnian champion Igokea still keeps top place with six games lost. They share the position with Bosna.
